MB is a wife and mother of three children. One weekend she had lunch with her favorite cousin, Gina, who was getting married to discuss her upcoming wedding plans. In the course of the conversation MB asked Gina how her brother Mike was doing. Mike is homosexual and had recently broken-up with his long-time significant other. Gina told her that Mike was doing much better and that he was dating a wonderful man who was an elementary school teacher. MB asked where he taught but Gina could not remember. During the lunch Gina showed MB some pictures of a recent family gathering that MB and her family had missed. In one picture was Mike with a man who looked very much like Rich Curtis.
