According to the food guide pyramid, after recording the meals that i ate over the coarse of three days, I was not eating that well. I exceeded in the milk, meat, and other category. My least favorable category was the bread group. I was only two points under in the fruits and vegetable categories..


Whenever I eat I should think about the food pyramid and the suggested amounts in each category. In most of the groups I didn't meet the expectations for recommended servings. The group that I ate the most of was the other group, which isin't very good since the food pyramid doesn't show any recommended servings for that group. I usually don't eat much at school or in the mornings or at home. That leaves work so for the most part all I eat is Taco Bell, and that is not healthy at all.


I don't use the pyramid when selecting food choices, mostly I eat what looks good at the time. There are nutrients in some of the stuff I eat when you break them down into the food groups. I have energy everyday,some days more than others. Some foods that I could add to my diet to make it more healthy and accurate according to the pyramid are salads, pasta, cereals, bread, and more fruits and vegetables. I should also consider drinking water or mild instead of soda so much. Instead of eating at work all the time I could make me something healthy and eat at home before I go to work. Water and fats should be included in my food choices because water carries oxygen , nutrients, wastes, and other minerals from place to place in my body and fat provides energy..

From day to day I do pretty much the same exercise. Walking from class to class, working, and walking eighteen blocks home.
